More Information about the Lisbon Metro
The Lisbon city metro is a metro network that consists of four lines comprising over 56 stations. The metro stations form a rail network of over 44 km. It is operated by Metropolitano de Lisboa, E.P.E.
The newer metro stations are well decorated and pleasant. They see more than 550,000 visitors per day. The metro network was inaugurated at the end of 1959.
