The Amsterdam city metro consists of 5 lines covering over 42 km.The Amsterdam metro has only 9 underground stations out of 39.The metro is open to the public from 5:30 AM and closes at 12:30 AM.

Tickets and subscriptions below are valid for tram, bus, and metro. Note: There are also weekly, monthly, or annual subscriptions if you reside for an extended period.

  • €3.20 for a single journey
  • €8 for a day pass
  • €13.50 for a 2-day pass
  • €19 for a 3-day pass

Line 50

Line 50 consists of 20 stations. It is also called the Ringlijn (Ring Line).

Line 51

Line 51 consists of 29 stations. It is also called Amstelveenlijn.

Line 52

Line 52 consists of 8 stops. It is also called Noord - Zuidlijn (North-South Line). The metro line is the newest, opened in 2018.

Line 53

Line 53 consists of 14 stops. It is also called Gaasperplaslijn.
